Tobias Hauswirth (er/ihm) erschafft in seinen Gemälden Formen, die aus seiner nahen Umgebung stammen. Warum «erschaffen», wenn sie doch schon existieren? Weil Tobias sie sieht und neu konturiert. Er führt die Betrachtenden zu einer Idee, die vielleicht schon in ihnen schlummert, aber erst durch seine Werke sichtbar wird. Klingt abstrakt? Das passt. Tobias spielt an den Grenzen der Malerei, überschreitet Formate und Formalien und öffnet so Räume, in denen Vorstellung und Realität aufeinandertreffen.
