Lelah Neary (sie/ihr) nennt sich selbst nonchalant Entertainerin – und sie hält ihr Versprechen. Ihre Performances zitieren eine wilde Auswahl aus Kunstgeschichte und Popkultur: Goethe, Memes, Ballett, Death-Metal-Gesang, Tecktonik-Dance – und schaffen es dabei stets zu überraschen und zu unterhalten. In der Tradition der Youtube-Community versteht Lelah sich als breit interessierte Autodidaktin, die sich am liebsten über das Web selbst neue Tanzstile aneignet und Subkulturen und sogenannte Hochkultur aufeinander knallen lässt. Dem durchgehend-online-Lebensstil ihrer Generation stellt sie dabei ihre Präsenz, ihre Stimme und ihr Auftreten im Raum entgegen. In ihrer dreiteiligen Performance «Laptop Peace» zeigt uns Lelah unter anderem, wie sich ein Laptop als Tanzpartner eignet.
