Kyryl Korin’s practice spans across painting, sculpture, and installation, moving between plane and spatial forms. Rooted in traditional painting and drawing, today his work operates between image, object, and space. Originally from Khmelnytskyi, Western Ukraine, currently Kyryl works in Basel and Bern, Switzerland. Materiality is the central point of his work. Blending together metal, wood, ceramics, leather, and textiles, Kyryl reflects on questions of today's culture. Drawing on sociological frameworks, his work explores how perception and social realities are constructed, mediated, and embodied. Space functions as an integral component of his practice, shaping the relationship between object, context, and viewer. Through material and spatial interventions, he examines the structures that shape individual and collective experience.
