Bräuche und ihre Überlieferungen bilden den Resonanzraum von Felix Stöckles (er/ihm) künstlerischem Schaffen. An der Jungkunst zeigt er ein wandfüllendes Ensemble aus selbst gebrannten Keramikkacheln, inspiriert von den römischen Palazzi. Risse und Brüche verweisen auf das Unberechenbare des Materials und zugleich auf die Fragilität von Erinnerung und kultureller Überlieferung. Zwei Schwäne rahmen den Bildraum, in dem Antike, Archäologie und Pop aufeinanderprallen. Schwungvolle Ornamente verbinden sich mit Symboliken der Liebe und Tiermotiven. Mit «Grotto, Grotto, Grotto» trifft römische Opulenz auf wilde Materialpoesie und setzt inmitten der industriellen Halle einen «grotesken» Akzent.

At Jungkunst, he presents a wall-filling ensemble of self-fired ceramic tiles, inspired by Roman palazzi. Cracks and fractures point to the unpredictability of the material while simultaneously evoking the fragility of memory and cultural heritage. Two swans frame the pictorial field, where antiquity, archaeology, and pop collide. Flowing ornaments intertwine with symbols of love and animal motifs. In «Grotto, Grotto, Grotto», Roman opulence meets wild material poetry, setting a «grotesque» accent in the midst of the industrial hall.
